Classic Motos Charity Ride in aid of Charlotte’s Challenge Appeal Fund.
What are we doing?
From the 12th to 25th September we will be closed for business to tour over 5000 km
on the A and
B roads round France on our classic British motorcycles. We will be riding
a Norton Commando S 1971
and a Triumph T120 1970.
Why are we doing it?
We are doing this to raise desperately needed funds. These will give our little niece Charlotte
the best
possible chance of survival.
Charlotte has a life-threatening blood disorder called Diamond Blackfan Anaemia (DBA).
This is a bone
marrow failure which means the body produces few or no red blood cells
– these are essential to live.
The only possible cure is a bone marrow transplant from a matched sibling. For various
reasons five attempts to find a matched sibling have failed but we fervently
hope the next one will work.
Please help Charlotte. Our aim is to raise £5000 by riding 5000 km.
